ROTHERHAM LEARNING PARTNERSHIP

RESOURCES

In this section you will find useful information to help you as a practitioner using ICT to support teaching and learning. If you are a teacher or a tutor, you will find information on national, regional and local policy to support ICT in learning, with pointers to sites that will give you resources. If you are a technician, you will find useful technical information.

Quality

The ICT Group strategy is based on exploiting major ICT programmes locally and regionally to deliver the aims and objectives of the Rotherham Learning Partnership. Many of these programmes are run by accountable bodies that have their own quality assurance and performance monitoring measures.

We see our role in the Rotherham Learning Partnership ICT Group as helping to assure quality from a local perspective.

Quality Assurance Activities

Engaging the wider partnerships and programmes with clear focus, aims and objectives
Ensuring that proposed programme outcomes will meet the identified needs
Monitoring and reporting outcomes to the local partnership in terms of local measures
Communicating opportunity, good practice and success, especially through the web site
Benchmarking progress through ongoing mapping of the ICT learning infrastructure and of the qualifications / skills uptake
