Welcome to the Adult Community based Learning section of the Rotherham Lifelong Learning Partnership website.

This area of the site aims to provide a useful, practical and informative service for ACL professionals in Rotherham such as:

Adult Learning and Skills underpins every aspect of community and neighbourhood renewal and is one of the central themes in Rotherham’s Community Strategy. The Strategy sets the priorities for activities for the next 5 years that will contribute to achieving the vision of economic and social prosperity for Rotherham. Learning partner organisations in Rotherham are committed to this strategy and to ensuring that opportunities for engaging in learning and skills development and gaining appropriate qualifications  are available all adults in the borough.

There is a particular focus on Skills for Life and the essential skills that underpin progression to qualifications and success for all.  

The Rotherham Adult Learning Partnership (RALP) group represent a wide range of adult community based learning organisations who work together to ensure that there is accessible, high quality provision available in a wide range of community venues.
