E-Guides

The E-Guides are a team whose purpose is to increase and improve the use of ILT (Information and Learning Technology) by Adult Education tutors across the borough of Rotherham. The E-Guides will be running a series of short courses to help tutors get the most out of technology and to help learners get the most out of your courses.

Courses will be designed to meet the needs of tutors of all 14 areas of learning and will involve using IT to plan lessons, create printed handouts, puzzles, exercises and other interactive materials and use the internet to find resources which have been made already.

You don’t have to be a computer whizz to come on an E-Guides course – in fact, if you don’t know how to use a computer at all then you’re exactly the person we want. We will be running introductory IT courses to get you up to speed.
