DFES 14-19 gateway
The Department for Education and Skills’ site dedicated to developments in the education system for 14-19 year olds. Includes information on the curriculum and qualifications, local delivery, current delivers, timetables for reform, the 14-19 newsletter and good practice guides.
Teachernet 14-19
The government’s website for teachers covers all areas of the education profession and resources and guidance for teachers. The 14-19 section focuses on the Implementation Plan (available for download above), and includes information about strategy, curriculum, vocational offers, progression and guidance for students and inspection information.
Every child matters
The government’s website dedicated to policy governing the well-being of children and young people from birth to the age of 19. This site contains information about organisations, practice and aspects of young people’s lives socially and educationally as well as the government’s commitment to parents, carers and families. The site also contains information about the “Youth Matters” initiative for young people aged 13-19.
Success for all
The government and LSC site for the “Success For All” initiative. It aims to ensure that education providers offer high quality learning to meet the needs of all learners.
QCA 14-19
The Qualifications and Curriculum Authority’s site for 14-19 education. Contains guidance and information about how exams are set marked and graded, managing the curriculum and meeting student needs.

The Nuffield Foundation has launched a three year independent review of 14-19 education and training in England, Wales and Scotland. The findings and research information on this, and other education issues can be found on this site.

Not to be mistaken for the National Curriculum online this is a bank of all the multimedia resources to support teaching and learning that schools can buy with eLCs and other funds. Many of these resources are also free.
